BBQ Fever

Next to the roast chicken dinner, BBQ is my favorite and anything BBQ'd is good in my books. At my house we use charcoal and I should probably mention that I do not do any of the grilling, my boyfriend is the "BBQ Assassin" so it only makes sense that we leave it up to him. I don't have the patience required to master this art but I have the utmost respect for those who do. Seriously, I've attempted this twice in my life, the first time the chicken was charred on the outside and raw inside and the second time I made a veggie dog and almost lost my mind.

Anyway, my favorite BBQ item these days is old school chicken legs, nothing fancy, just BBQ sauce like when I was a kid. Pair these with some creamy potato salad, coleslaw and sweet grilled corn on the cob and It's like you've died and gone to heaven. In fact, if it ever came to it, this could quite possibly be my "last" meal... with a little side of roast chicken please.
