Beef Kabobs

We were on quite the kabob craze the other day and decided to try out a few different ideas. I know that kabobs might not sound too exciting for many of you but with the different flavours and the endless possibilities, they really are a great option for fast, fun and just plain good food.

Now, with any kabob we are talkin' about a need to be creative. It's kind of hard to do it wrong so do your own thing and have a blast but one little diddy that we tried out the other day is certainly worth trying. Steak, potatoes, tomatoes and ranch dressing, all grilled together. Yes, yes, yes and yes please!

Recipe from recipeland:
4 whole new potatoes, cut in half
1 lb beef sirloin, cut lengthwise into 1/2" strips
8 cherry tomatoes
1/4 cup ranch dressing, divided in half

Directions:
1. Preheat the grill to medium heat. Meanwhile, if using wooden skewers soak them in water for 15 minutes.
2. Bring a saucepan of water to a boil and cook potatoes about 10 minutes or just until slightly tender. Don't overcook the potatoes.
3. Thread the skewers accordion style alternating with the beef, potatoes and tomatoes. Brush with half of the ranch dressing and place the kabobs on the hot grill. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until the beef is nicely browned. Brush the kabobs with the remaining dressing 2 minutes before removing them from the grill.
