That's a Wrap


Why we would have a bacon wrapped tenderloin with gorgonzola butter on our third day of excess is beyond me. I suppose much like opening that second (or fourth) bottle of wine or having the extra beer at the end of the night, it all seemed like a good idea at the time. Don't get me wrong, the steak was amazing, I just know my arteries were a little unimpressed at the sight of beef and bacon all smothered in cheese, that's all.

Last weekend, I gladly left my judgement at the door. Our celebration weekend in Tofino was all about gluttony. It's hard to show restraint when you're living in an unbelievably stunning cabin built by local artisans, amidst the rainforest, surrounded by some of the best food and friends around. I may have been feeling a bit rough this past week but it was all so worth it, I'd do it again anyday, anytime.
